Pascente was pulled over in Palos Hills around 5:30 p.m. Feb. 22 on an apparent traffic violation.

Prosecutors said Pascente handed officers a joint after detecting an odor of burnt cannabis. While searching Pascente, police found 12 baggies of heroin, four syringes, a digital scale and a prescription bottle containing a green leafy substance under a knit hat she wore on her head, police said.

Police alleged that more baggies of heroin were found concealed in Pascente’s bra.

Pascente was also charged for violating supervision on a battery charge.

The assistant public defender argued that Pascente had mental health issues and asked for a low bond.

Judge Felice set a bail at $25,000 on the violation of supervision charge and $15,000 on the drug charge.

Pascente is due back in court on March 16 in Bridgeview.
