Don Pegler exhibit opens at Iannelli Studios
An exhibit of the works of Don Pegler, artist, animator and illustrator will be open Friday, June 15, at Iannelli Studios

An exhibit of the works of artist, illustrator and animator Don Pegler will be on display at The Kalo Foundationโs Iannelli Studios Heritage Center, 255 North Northwest Highway, Park Ridge, from Friday, June 15 through Sunday, July 15.ย An opening reception is scheduled for Friday, June 15, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Pegler, who had been a board member of The Kalo Foundation since 2009, began his career as a magazine illustrator, moving on to five years with a Chicago animation studio before launching his 40 year career as an illustrator and art director at Foote, Cone & Belding.ย At FCB Pegler is best remembered for the Raid Bugs he created for S.C. Johnson.ย The Raid bug campaign, which originated in 1963, is part of advertising history, according to Betsy Foxwell, president of The Kalo Foundation.
