Center of Concern Honors Maine Township

Maine Township was recently honored by the Center of Concern for more than a decade of support.

Maine Township Receives Partner of the Decade Award

The Center of Concern celebrated its 40th Anniversary in style this October with a spectacular birthday celebration held at The Glen Club in Glenview, IL. Maine Township Supervisor Laura J. Morask attended to help commemorate the special occasion as well as to accept the distinguished Partner of the Decade Award on behalf of the township.

“The Center of Concern has been a long-time fantastic partner in our endeavors to help seniors and others in need as seen by our longtime commitment to funding,” said Supervisor Morask. “They have stepped up to the plate and are a model to all social service agencies. We are honored to receive the Partner of the Decade Award.” Other Trustees attending were Trustees Kimberly Jones, Susan Sweeney, and Dave Carrabotta.
