Come hear songs of love at The Summit of Uptown on Feb. 20

While we all know that love may be a reason to be living as the old song says, it’s also a reason to come to The Summit of Uptown on Friday, Feb. 20, at 1:30 p.m. when The Golden Notes will present Love is a Many Splendored Thing. There is no charge for the program, but reservations are required by Tuesday, Feb. 17, by calling 847-825-1161, ext. 129. Light refreshments will be served.

A choir that includes about 20 men and women who are members of the Niles Senior Center, the group sings in a variety of styles. The upcoming performance will include many recognizable melodies including Love is a Many-Splendored Thing as well as other romantic ballads.

Love is a Many Splendored Thing is just one example of the variety of programs and activities that are always open to the community that are planned throughout the year. Parking is available in the Uptown City garage across the street. Guests are encouraged to arrive early or stay late for tours of the recently renovated retirement community which is conveniently located in the heart of Uptown Park Ridge.
