Community Stars Honored by Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce
It was an evening filled with wonderful stories of giving back to our community, great food, dancing and celebration.
Chamber’s Annual Event Honored Volunteers Who Help Make Park Ridge a Wonderful Place to Work, Live and Raise a Family.
Over 200 attended the Annual Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce dinner and Community Stars Award night on Feb. 21 at the Chicago Marriott O’Hare. The night had an ”Academy Awards” theme featuring large Oscars, a red carpet with live interviews, and movie-themed tables and more.
Here, l to r, are Past Chamber President Josh Nichols, Maine Twp Trustee Kimberly Jones, Township Clerk Gary K. Warner, Chamber Director Gail Haller, Highway Commissioner Bob Provenzano, and Past Chamber President Dick Barton. Warner, Provenzano and Barton are all past recipients of a Community Star Award. Barton is also a past recipient of the Chamber President’s Award.
The annual event also featured auctions and live music for dancing. It is the largest fundraiser for the Park Ridge Chamber each year.
