A 57-year-old Chicago man had his ear sliced and received lacerations to his face after asking to use the bathroom at a Park Ridge gas station on Oct. 23 around 7:45 a.m.

Danny Boudakh, 27, of Des Plaines, an employee at Marathon gas station, was charged with battery after he denied the victim use of the bathroom in the store, in the 500 block of Talcott Avenue. Boudakh is alleged to have slammed the victim's car door to his head, which caught a portion of his ear and face, police said.

The battery was a result of a heated argument as to why the victim could not use the bathroom, police said. The injured man drove himself to Resurrection Hospital where he received several stitches to his face and ear. He is pressing charges against the Marathon employee.
