Crime prevention seminar set for July 31 at Maine Township Town Hall
A Cook County Crime Prevention Seminar will be held at Maine Township Town Hall, 1700 Ballard Road, Park Ridge, Monday, July 31, starting at 6 p.m. All Maine Township residents are invited to attend this free program.
"This is just one more in a series of initiatives to combat crime," said Township Supervisor Laura J. Morask who is one of the sponsors of the seminar. "We welcome participation by all of our citizens in addressing this issue because solutions to problems begin with awareness."
Other sponsors are Peter N. Silvestri, Cook County Commissioner—9th District; Michael P. McAuliffe, State Representative—20th District; and the Cook County Sheriff.
