First Annual Park Ridge Health Fair

Park Ridge Community Health Commission and Park Ridge Park District Host First Annual Health Fair

The Park Ridge Community Health Commission in partnership of the Park Ridge Park District invites your organization or business to participate in this inaugural health fair. It will be an opportunity for local businesses and organizations that promote health and wellness to showcase their services as well as a chance for our residents to learn about the many local options available to them.
The Community Health Fair will be held outdoors in Hodges Park on Saturday, June 23 from 9 am - noon. Participating businesses will be provided with space allowing room to place an 8 foot table. You can set up a display, provide information, and/or offer health awareness activities or screenings.
The entry fee is $75 for businesses and free for nonprofit organizations; a table and two chairs can be provided for an additional $25. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their offerings on a demonstration stage—for example, a short form fitness class, performance, or activity.
We hope you’ll want to be a part of this debut health fair event. Space is limited. If you are interested in participating, contact Tim Milburn at logintim@gmail.com by 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 24. Please also indicate if you would like to reserve time on the demonstration stage.
The Community Health Commission is comprised of the following volunteer members: Jack Barnette, Joe Nykuluk, Mary Cunningham, Steve Paschos, Jeff Frankowiak, Angie Plewa-Rusiecki, Melissa Hulting, Tina Serio, Eileen Manning, Tricia Williams (Chairman), and Tim Milburn.
