In its second webinar this year, Liberty Bank presents valuable information in a free consumer debt webinar May 20.

Liberty Bank webinar will help people wipe out consumer debt
Liberty Bank for Savings will sponsor a free webinar, available via laptop or smartphone, designed to help people reduce consumer debt. Be Debt Free…Forever, will be offered Wednesday, May 20, at 7 p.m. Registration is required at www.libertybank.com.
This free webinar, conducted by Laura La Belle, a certified financial planner and money coach, is designed for people who are struggling with debt that prevents them from having more money for fun activities or to save for the future. A blue print for people who want to begin a road to a debt-free future, the simple, easy three-step system helps them learn to eliminate debts, open family communications about finances, and free up more money every month. The system works for those who have a few debts as well as those who have a lot of debt.
The latest statistics from the Federal Reserve indicate consumer debt in the United States continues to increase, reaching nearly $3.2 trillion in July, 2014. According to statistics published by the Census Bureau, that works out to more than $10,200 in debt for every man, woman and child that lives here in the United States.

“Anyone who thinks that statistic isn’t alarming needs to keep this in mind: the $10,200 per person doesn’t include debt associated with mortgages,” said Kevin Tynan, Senior Vice President of Liberty Bank for Savings.
Liberty Bank for Savings dates back to1898 when members of a Bucktown church came together in the spirit of “neighbors helping neighbors” to provide each other with home loans.
