LEGAL AND FINANCIAL PLANNING FOR ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE
Chicago, IL - The Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Illinois Chapter’s educational program Legal and Financial Planning for Alzheimer’s disease will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Norwood Park Senior Center, 5801 N. Natoma, Chicago, IL 60631.
The diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease makes planning for the future more important than ever. Legal and Financial Planning for Alzheimer’s disease is an interactive program where participants will have a chance to learn about important legal and financial issues to consider, how to put plans in place, and how to access legal and financial resources.

This program will cover information for families and individuals dealing with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. Topics covered include: making legal plans that fit individuals’ needs; legal documents and what they mean; how to find legal and financial assistance; practical strategies for making a long-term plan of care; tax deductions and credits; and government programs that can help pay for care.
Hafsa Ahsan, Manager, Education and Outreach will present and take questions following the program.
