Glenview Man Not Guilty in Park Ridge Stabbing
Kenneth Lee had acted in self-defense in July 2014 incident, judge finds.

A Glenview man that had been accused of stabbing another man on a residential street in Park Ridge last July was found not guilty of three counts of aggravated battery and one count of reckless conduct this week by a Cook County Circuit Court judge.
The Chicago Tribune reports Kenneth J. Lee was acquitted of all charges related to the stabbing of the 19-year-old Park Ridge man that occurred on July 3 just before 11 p.m. in the 700 block of North Western as the alleged victim and friends were returning from a fireworks display at Maine East High School.
An attorney for Lee argued during trial the stabbing was in self defense - saying the 19-year-old “ran out from a building and physically attacked Lee, who was walking down the block with a woman.”
