Hillary Clinton's Visit Cost Park Ridge PD Almost as Much as Cubs Season Tickets in the Cheap Seats
The department spent less than $2K on the presidential hopeful's return to her hometown in May.

Park Ridge, IL—Hillary Clinton's visit in May to her hometown of Park Ridge attracted tremendous amounts of attention from the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee's supporters and detractors, as well as the media.
But that influx of people didn't come with a tremendous dollar cost, according to the Park Ridge Herald-Advocate.

The Park Ridge Police Department spent $1,950 to deal with Clinton's fundraising visit May 19, the Herald-Advocate reports. The additional costs came from three extra officers, five crossing guards and an extra non-sworn employee, the report added.
Other municipal costs incurred by Clinton's visit included less than $200 spent installing and removing barricades by the Public Works Department, the report stated.

And in case you're wondering, the cheapest season-ticket package for the Chicago Cubs runs $1,848 (including the 12 percent amusement tax). Of course, that's only if you're already a season-ticket holder. Otherwise, get in line on the waiting list. There are only more than 64,000 people in front you, according to the Cubs' website.
