Liberty Bank Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Style

After 10 years of inspiring commitment to the community, Liberty Bank pledges to continue serving Park Ridge and staying involved.

Liberty Bank Celebrates a Decade of Community Service and Pledges More to Come

In July, 2005, Liberty Bank for Savings opened its first new branch in 20 years in Park Ridge. The new location was its fifth bank with others being located in Chicago and on the northwest side. In addition to celebrating its 117th year in business, the bank recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Park Ridge branch.

Liberty is giving away ten $1,000 educational scholarships as part of the celebration. Interested parties can fill out a simple registration form at 1018 Touhy Avenue, Park Ridge, during business hours. A drawing for winners will be held in early January. On Dec. 17, the anniversary party at the branch hosted VIPs from the bank and the community including Acting Mayor Marty Maloney, local business leaders, news media and bank customers. An estimated 100+ enjoyed food, beverages, live music and raffles. All raffle proceeds benefitted the Park Ridge Community Fund. Two of the most popular raffle items were original paintings by Park Ridge Artist Mary Murphy.
