Maine Township’s MaineStay Youth & Family Services, now celebrating 40 years of service to the community, announces the schedule of 2015 fall programs filled with affordable educational opportunities for youth and adults alike to gain new skills and increase their success in life. For youth, MaineStay is offering groups for Self-Esteem, Anxiety, and Art. For parents, they are offering a Couples Workshop and Parenting Class.

Couples Workshop | Sept. 17 – Oct. 22
This six-week educational group will help couples discover what it takes to make a relationship work. Participants will learn practical, research-based principles in a relaxed setting that can guide them towards better communication and a more successful relationship. Cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple.

Art in the Town | Sept. 21 – Nov. 30
Children 8-14 are welcome to explore their creative talents in this after school art program made possible through a partnership with the Brickton Art Center. Cost is free, but income eligibility guidelines apply.
Parenting Class | Sept. 28 – Nov. 9
This six-week parenting class uses an informative blend of video and discussion to help parents learn fun and practical ways to parent with more energy and less stress. Cost is $20 per person or $25 per couple.

Girls Self-Esteem Group | Sept. 29 – Nov. 3
Girls 10-14 are invited to join this fun and interactive six-week self-esteem group designed to give them the tools they need to feel more confident about themselves and to enhance their self-esteem. Cost is $15.
Anxiety Coping Skills Group | Oct. 15 – Dec.10
This research-supported eight-week group helps children 8-13 learn effective ways to deal with anxiety and stress. Participants will have fun while mastering critical skills for success at school and home. Cost is $25.
