Meet Kenneth Mylander!

Mylander, Vice President and Mortgage Banker at BMO Harris Bank, introduces himself to the Park Ridge community.

Meet Kenneth Mylander!

Kenneth Mylander,Vice President / Mortgage Banker at BMO Harris Bank Park Ridge, is a long-time resident and a graduate of Maine South High School, Oakton Community College, and DePaul University. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate which led him to not only a 30+ year career as a Mortgage Banker, but also several years as a Continuing Education instructor teaching Realtors about Real Estate finance at Oakton Community College.

If you are looking to purchase a home, Kenneth Mylander is your go-to guy. His customers include the full spectrum of home buyers, from those purchasing their first home to those building their dream home. One of his niche products is the "One Close Construction Loan" that allows a customer to get the construction financing and the final mortgage loan together in one product. Instead of getting two loans, one for the construction and then a new loan by refinancing to a final mortgage (end loan), there is only one mortgage that is used to finance the entire project. This product substantially reduces costs and allows for the rate and term of the loan to be locked in at the start of the home building process.

"I take a great deal of pride in my service to my customers and have many clients who have come back to me multiple times over the years to either refinance, or seek me out for financing to purchase a new home. It is gratifying to get a call from a referral and find that they are a son or daughter of a past customer and say that the parents insist they use my services to get their mortgage," said Mylander.

Kenneth enjoys participating in Park Ridge Chamber events and has used the services of other members regularly. From buying gift wine to using carpentry and electrical services from members to working with excellent Realtors, Mylander finds the Park Ridge Chamber to be an extremely beneficial networking tool and looks forward to connecting with new members in the future. “Isn’t that the point of being a member in the first place,” exclaimed Kenneth Mylander.
