Meet Realtor Paul Swanson!

Paul Swanson is a 20-year resident and full-time Realtor based in Park Ridge. After 20+ years in corporate marketing and promotion, Paul has turned his full attention to growing his real estate business, “Closer to Home, Inc.”

“The details matter,” said Paul. “Whether it is determining the value range of a home, staging for a professional photo shoot [for a listing], networking with other agents or community professionals, or communicating in a timely manner with my clients, it is the little things that make each relationship and transaction successful.”

Paul credits his success to the trust and collaboration he has with his clients and service partners. “If I am focused on the needs of my clients and if I am successful serving and accomplishing their goals, the rest will fall into place.” That success earned Paul a 5 Star Professional designation in 2016 – awarded to only 2.5% of all Chicago-area real estate agents. It also allowed him to move into the Top 10% in sales volume of all agents with Baird & Warner in only his third full year. Paul was also recently awarded Baird & Warner President’s Club status for sales volume in 2016.

“A big part of the growth of my business, Closer to Home, Inc., has come through the Park Ridge Chamber. I really enjoy the close relationships I have developed in PREN 1, I try to not to miss the Breakfast Club, and the Young Professionals events are always active. There’s a dedicated group of business owners and professionals in Park Ridge that care about their clients and want to be able to confidently refer other professionals. I am proud to be able to refer local businesses and I have been fortunate to be on the receiving end of those referrals as well.”
