Park Ridge Blotter: Battery, Marijuana Charge

The following arrest information was supplied by the Park Ridge Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Battery

Danny Boudakh, 27, of Des Plaines, was charged with battery on Oct. 23 around 7:45 a.m. Boudakh was arrested in the 5000 block of Talcott Avenue. His court date is Nov. 16.

Boudakh, an employee at Marathon gas station in the the 5000 block of Talcott Avenue, refused to let a customer use the restroom prior to the battery, police said. A heated argument ensued between Boudakh and the customer following the denial to let the man use the bathroom.

After the verbal exchange, the customer left and Boudakh followed the 57-year-old victim to his car and slammed his door on the victim's face, resulting in a slicing of the ear and cuts to the face, police said. 

The victim drove himself to Resurrection Hospital where he received several stiches, police said. Charges are currently pending.

Possession of Mary Jane

A 14-year-old boy from Northbrook was charged with possession of cannabis on Oct. 26. The teen was arrested in the 100 block of Busse Avenue around 5:25 p.m. His court date is Nov. 9.

DUI

Tomasz Augustowski, 38, of Des Plaines, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Oct. 27 around 1 am. Augustowski was stopped near the intersection of Dee Road and Touhy Avenue for speeding, the report stated. His court date is Nov. 9.

Operating motor vehicle while impaired

A 20-year-old Park Ridge man was charged with operating a motor vehicle in a "state of impairment" on Oct. 27. The charge is different than driving under the influence of drug, alcohol. The man was arrested near Stewart and Home avenues around 3 a.m. His court date is Nov. 19.

Zero tolerance

Piotr Pszczolka, 19, of Chicago, was charged under Illinois' Zero Tolerance law on Oct. 27 around 3 a.m. Pszczolka was arrested near Steward and Home avenues. His court date is Nov. 13.
