Burglaries

An air compressor and motor were reported stolen from a storage garage in the 2600 block of Oakton Street on Sept. 28.

Several boxes of electrical fixtures were reported stolen from an unlocked garage in the 300 block of Northwest Highway on Oct. 2.

A blue golf bag and clubs were reported stolen from an unlocked garage in the 1100 block of W. Talcott Avenue on Oct. 1.

Criminal damage

Unknown offender(s) used unknown means to damage the vents and cupolas on the roof of a building in the 400 block of Devon Avenue on Sept. 24.

A sink was broken into multiple pieces after it was pulled off a wall from a home in the 100 block of Busse Highway on Sept. 28.

Chalker on the loose

Chalk was used to draw several images on a the entrance of a building in the 2000 block of Sibley Avenue on Oct. 1. The culprit remains at large.

Suspicious incident

A man pulled up to a young girl and asked her if she needed a ride home in the 700 block of East Avenue on Oct. 3 at 8:15 a.m. The girl told the driver, "no," and fled the scene. The person was described as a 60-year-old male, white, driving a small black car, the report stated. No further description was available.

BMX stolen

A BMX bicycle was reported stolen from the side of a residence in the 1800 block of Glenview Road on Sept. 29. The bike was left unlocked, the report stated.

Stolen wallet

A woman reported her wallet stolen after dinning at a restaurant in the 100 block of Northwest Highway on Sept. 28.

Stolen iPad

A man reported his iPad stolen after leaving it unattended on a park bench in the 1500 block of Washington Street on Oct. 1.
