Park Ridge Blotter: DUI Leads to Accident

Trespassing
A 16-year-old Chicago male was charged with trespassing on Nov. 14. The teen was arrested in the 5300 block of Menard Avenue around 2:20 p.m. His court date is Dec. 24.

Kevin Yun, 42, of Wheaton, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, driving off roadway, improper parking and having no valid license, among other things, on Nov. 15.
"Our officers responded to the area of Busse and Greenwood," said Deputy Chief Lou Jogmen.

When police arrived they found a light pole lying on the ground in the northwest lane of Busse Road. Officers also found a Honda emblem and skid marks leading down Greenwood Avenue.
After investigating, police found a Honda vehicle with heavy front-end damage parked on Greenwood Avenue, police said. Yun was found inside the vehicle sleeping, according to the report. His court date is set for Dec. 21.
