Park Ridge Blotter: Egging, Burglary

The following arrest information was supplied by the Park Ridge Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Residential burglary

Police responded to a burglary in the 1000 block of Lois Avenue on Aug. 29. According to the report, unknown means were used to gain entrance and a laptop, iPod, backpack, purse and several credit cards were reported stolen.

Following the burglary, one of the credit cards stolen was used at an unknown location, the report said. The backpack would later be recovered from a nearby Dumpster, the report stated.

A home in the 1300 block of Peterson Avenue was reported burglarized on Aug. 29. According to the report, a laptop computer was stolen from the home.

Theft from auto

A car parked in the 1400 block of Clifton Street was reported burglarized on Aug. 27. According to the report, a car stereo was missing from the vehicle.

A car parked in the 1000 block of Peterson Avenue was reported burglarized on Aug. 29. According to the report, an iPod and backpack were removed from the vehicle.

Egging

An unknown person threw several eggs at a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Wilma Street on Aug. 25.

Keyed car

A car parked in the 400 block of Busse Highway was reported vandalized on Aug. 25. According to the report, a sharp object was used to scratch the vehicle.

Painted stop sign

A stop sign in the 700 block of Busse Highway was reported vandalized on Aug. 28. According to the report, paint was used to write over a stop sign.

Stolen bike

A bike was reported stolen from the 700 block of Busse Highway on Aug. 28.

Stolen tricycle

A tricycle was reported stolen from a home in the 1600 block of Walnut Avenue on Aug. 27.

Missing wallet

A wallet was stolen from an office in the 1700 block of Dempster Street on Aug. 29. According to the report, a credit card from the wallet was used at an unknown location after the theft.

Stolen plates

A driver reported his front and rear license plates stolen from his vehicle in the 100 block of Chester Street on Aug. 25.
