Attempted burglary
Police responded to a burglary complaint in the 600 block of Fairview Avenue on Sept. 26. According to the report, unknown means were used to force open a garage door. While the frame was damaged, the alleged culprit(s) did not gain access. No items were reported missing.

A dishwasher and microwave were removed from a construction site in the 300 block of Northwest Highway on Sept. 21.
Burglary

Several tools and a power washer were reported stolen from a residence's garage in the 1100 block of Vine Avenue on Sept. 27. The alleged suspect(s) entered through a service door, the report stated.
Yard light vandalism
Police responded to a criminal damage complaint in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue on Sept. 22. According to the report, unknown means were used to damage a coach yard light.
Retail theft
A man concealed two bottles of vodka under his shirt before running out of a store and hopping onto his motorcycle in the 1900 block of Cumberland Avenue on Sept. 24. The suspect was described as a 40-50 year old male.
Stolen iPad
Police responded to a theft at a hospital in the 1700 block of Dempster Street on Aug. 11. According to the report, an iPad was removed from a hospital room.
