Burglary

Police responded to a burglary in the 1600 block of Church Street on Aug. 19. According to the report, the offender(s) gained access through a window and removed several TVs, laptops, a video game system and jewelry.

Condo gear stolen

A condo building in the 300 block of Northwest Highway was reported burglarized on Aug. 18. According to the report, multiple electrical supplies were stolen.

Apartment burglary

Police responded to a burglary in the 1400 block of Touhy Avenue on Aug. 20. The offender(s) took an iPhone, cash and jewelry, according to the report.

Vehicle vandalism

A man reported that an unknown person damaged the front driver's side window of his vehicle in the 1500 block of Potter Road on Aug. 17.

Missing wallet

A woman reported her wallet stolen was visiting a hospital in the 1700 block of Dempster Street on Aug. 17.

Silver plates stolen

Several sterling silver plates were reported stolen from a home in the 1600 block of Vine Street on July 1.

Resurfacing that driveway

Three different homeowners reported that an unknown person(s) spray painted their driveways in the 900 block of Sylviawood on Aug. 18.

BB gun shooting

A window in the 300 block of Northwest Highway was shot with a BB gun on Aug. 17.

A second window in the 300 block of Northwest Highway was shot with a BB gun on Aug. 17.

Graffiti

A pedestrian underpass in the 100 block of Summit Road was spray painted by an unknown person(s) on Aug. 20.

Theft from auto

A car parked in the 1400 block of Northwest Highway was reported burglarized on Aug. 17.  Access was gained by smashing out the front window, according to the report. Once inside, several "data transmitters" were taken.

A car parked in the 2700 block of Mayfield Avenue was reported burglarized on Aug. 17. According to the report, a GPS device was reported stolen.

A damaged water bottle and cash were reported stolen from a car parked in the 1500 block of Northwest Highway on Aug. 17.

A GPS device was reported stolen from a car parked in the 1500 block of Elliot Street on Aug. 16.

A car parked in the 900 block of James Street was reported burglarized on Aug. 19. According to the report, cash was missing from the vehicle.

Various tools and a radar detector were reported stolen from a car parked in the 700 block of Devon Avenue on Aug. 20. The suspect(s) gained access by smashing out the driver's side window.

A GPS device was reported stolen from a car parked in the 1100 block of Washington Street on Aug. 21.

A GPS device was reported stolen from a car parked in the 1200 block of Washington Street on Aug. 21.

An SUV parked in the 600 block of Northwest Highway was reported burglarized on Aug. 21. According to the report, an iPod Touch was missing from the vehicle.
