Park Ridge Police Blotter: Suspicious Person Reported Outside School

Burglary

A garage in the 600 block of Goodwin Avenue was reported burglarized on Sept. 9. According to the report, the offenders entered an unlocked garage and removed a power saw and violin.

Damage to auto

A car parked in the 700 block of Busse Highway was reported vandalized on Sept. 11. According to the report, a passenger side window was damaged.

Suspicious person

A resident called police and reported a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Northwest Highway, or the school parking lot, on Sept. 12 around 2 p.m. According to the report, an unknown person in his 70s was parked in a tan Toyota Corolla alongside the school playground.

Stained glass stolen

A stained glass window was reported stolen from a home in the 600 block of Cedar Avenue on Sept. 6.

Stolen auto

A car parked in the 500 block of Redfield Court was reported stolen from a garage on Sept. 13. According to the report, the owner of the vehicle left his garage door unlocked.
