Park Ridge Electronics Recycling Event Successful

Thanks in part to the continued support of Maine Township and the Township Highway Department.

Electronic Recycling Remains Popular

With 375 vehicles serviced in just three hours, the October 10 Electronics Recycling Event hosted by the City of Park Ridge, Park Ridge Park District and Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce was another success. Sponsors including Carol A. Teschky, Supervisor of Maine Township, Highway Commissioner Robert Provenzano, Republic Services, and Village Bank & Trust.

Document shredding was added this year to better serve the needs of the community. The annual electronic recycling event continues to be popular especially since dumping electronics in the regular trash pick-up is now against most local ordinances.
