Park Ridge Police Blotter: Arson, Battery
The following arrest information was supplied by the Park Ridge Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
For the week of Aug. 1 - Aug. 15:
DUI
Othman Hendawi, 34, of Des Plaines, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Aug. 5. He was also charged with fleeing and eluding a police officer, no valid insurance and reckless driving. His court date is Sept. 13.

Kenith McIntosh, 30, of Des Plaines, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Aug. 6.

Battery
Fadi Kilani, 50, of Chicago, was charged with battery on Aug. 6. Kilani is alleged to have grabbed a 63-year-old man by the shirt before punching him in the face, according to the Park Ridge Herald. The entire incident started after a parking dispute between the two parties.
Arson
A 13-year-old was charged with arson on Aug. 6. According to the Park Ridge Herald, the boy was identified by police "as a suspect in a July 17 arson at Hinkley Park." The boy is alleged to have set a garbage can on fire.
