Park Ridge Police Blotter: Home Burglarized on Belle Plaine Avenue
The following arrest information was supplied by the Park Ridge Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Residential burglary
Police responded to a burglary in the 1500 block of Belle Plaine Avenue on July 24. According to the report, an unknown person(s) gained entry through unknown means and removed jewelry and a variety of documents.

A car parked in the 1900 block of Sibley Street was reported burglarized on Aug. 8. According to the report, the owner of the vehicle said he was missing a pair of sunglasses and a case.

A car parked in the 500 block of Home Street was reported burglarized on Aug. 8. According to the report, a bag of miscellaneous documents was taken from the vehicle. Later that day, however, an unknown citizen found the bag near Dee Road and returned them to the owner.

A car parked in the 800 block of Sylviawood Driveway was reported burglarized on Aug. 8. A credit card and several gift cards were reported stolen, the report said.

A GPS device was reported stolen from a car parked in the 600 block of Cedar Avenue on Aug. 7.
Criminal damage
A man reported that an unknown person scratched the paint on his vehicle's exterior on Aug. 3.

A driver reported receiving substantial damage to his vehicle several hours after he'd been near the 1000 block of Devon Avenue on Aug. 2.

A citizen reported that an unknown person(s) smashed out the rear passenger window of his vehicle on Aug. 5.

The driver's side window of a citizen's car was reported smashed/broken on Aug. 9.

A car parked in the 600 block of Northwest Highway had its paint scratched and tires slashed on Aug. 9.

A homeowner in the 1700 block of Greenwood Avenue reported that someone damaged his lamp on Aug. 3.

A homeowner reported that he saw three teens break a neighbors lamp in the 1600 block of Greenwood Avenue on Aug. 2.

An unknown offender shot a BB through the front window of a residence on Aug. 5.

A woman reported her purse stolen after dining at a restaurant in the 100 block of Northwest Highway on Aug. 2.

Stolen auto
A car parked in the 100 block of Washington Street was reported stolen on Aug. 3.
