Park Ridge Police Blotter: DUI Charge After Crash, Woman Kicked Car and More

Stolen Vehicle

A 14-year-old boy from Chicago was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle June 8 at 10:49 a.m. The juvenile was arrested near the intersection of Dee Road and Elm Street.

Car Kicked

Shariah Mendoza, 26, of Niles, was charged with criminal damage to property June 12 at 11:14 p.m. in the 1600 block of Western Avenue. Police said Mendoza was having an arguement with someone an kicked and damaged the driver's side passenger door of a a car.

DUI

Michael Desantis, 23, of Park Ridge, was charged June 8 at 4:20 a.m. with DUI, failure to report an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and disobeying a stop sign. The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Dempster Street. Desantis was charged after rearending a vehicle at 3:20 a.m.near Dee Road and Manor Lane, the Park Ridge Herald-Advocate reported.

Reckless Driving

Vladimir S. Foreman, 21, of Park Ridge, was charged with reckless driving June 13 at 5:58 p.m. after an incident in the 1000 block of N. Northwest Highway. Foreman was charged after striking a 49-year-old pedestrian in a parking lot, the Park Ridge Herald-Advocate reported.
