Park Ridge Police Blotter: Garbage Bin Stolen, Cars Vandalized And More

Wallet Stolen

Two black women entered a store in the 100 block of S. Northwest Highway on Friday July 6, looked around and asked to use the bathroom in the rear of the store. The two women then made a purchase and left the store. The victim later noticed her wallet was missing from the rear of the store. The two women are described as being in their late 30s and early 40s one with tattoos and spandex pants and the other heavy set with spandex pants.

Garbage Bin Taken

Someone took a garbage bin, refuse bin and recycle bin from in front of the victim's house in the 1700 block of Glenview Street on July 6.

Bicycle Theft

A Novara bicycle was taken from an unlocked garage in the 200 block of Albion sometime between July 7 at 11:30 p.m. and July 8 at 11 a.m.

Car Burglary

A 2010 Honda Odyssey was burglarized in the 900 block of N. Busse Highway sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. July 6. A GPS unit was taken.

Vandalism

The front driver's side door, rear passenger door and front quarter panel on a 2010 Nissan Altima were scratched in the 300 block of Busse Highway on July 10 between 9:30 a.m. and 8 p.m.

A 2001 Lexus RX300 was damaged when someone threw a rock at the passenger side rear door in the 200 block of S. Summit Street July 12 about 7:30 p.m.

A 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee had its front passenger side door damaged when someone threw a rock in the in first block of Busse Highway on July 12 about 10:21 p.m.

Theft of Gas

Someone pumped more than five gallons of gas into a silver minivan and drove off without paying in the 1100 block of W. Touhy Ave. on July 11 at 7:52 a.m.
