Park Ridge Police Blotter: Homes Burglarized, Church Vandalized and More

Burglaries
A home in the 100 block of N. Clinton Street was burglarized June 6 sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 3:50 p.m. A window was damaged to gain entry to the home and antique coins, jewelry and papers were taken.
A home in the 1600 block of Parkside Drive was burglarized June 7 sometime between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The home was unlocked at the time of the incident and the offender took jewelry and an undeterimined amount of money.

A 2000 Ford Expedition was burglarized in the 1700 block of W. Dempster Street sometime between June 1 at 10:30 p.m. and June 2 at 1:20 a.m. The vehicle's driver's side window was damaged to gain entry and an undetermined amount of money was taken.

Someone spray painted the driver's side of a 2004 Freightliner truck in the 1300 block of N. Hamline Street.
The driver's side window of a 2011 Toyota 4Runner was damaged June 1 in the 1600 block of S. Western Avenue.
Someone scratched the driver's side of a 1997 Saturn from the door to the rear bumper in the 900 block of Sylviawood Street sometime between 5 p.m. May 18 and 2 p.m. May 20.
The side of a garage was defaced with charcoal in the 400 block of Sibley Street sometime between 6 p.m. June 1 and 9 a.m. June 3.
South Park Church, 1330 S. Courtland Avenue, had a drainage pipe pulled down and a sign damaged sometime between 10 p.m. June 4 and 7 a.m. June 5.
Theft
The crossing flags were removed from the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Summit Avenue sometime between 11:50 p.m. June 2 and 4:54 a.m. June 3.
Disorderly Conduct
Anthony Nugent, 37, of Chicago, was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident June 4, at 12:14 p.m. in the 8500 block of Catherine Terrace.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident June 5 at 9 a.m. in the 1200 block of Carol Street.
Citations
Victor A. Galeana, 25, of Bensenville, was charged with no valid driver's license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident June 8 at 9:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Touhy Avenue.
Carol Paddock, 51, of Park Ridge, was cited for failure to control an animal on June 2 at 5:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Edgemont Lane.
