Park Ridge Police Blotter: Underage Drinking, Battery Arrests and More

Battery
James K. Young, 21, of Des Plaines was charged with battery June 28 after an at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, 1775 Dempster Street. Police said that Young spit in the face of security while a patient at the hospital.
Robert E. Kipiel, 38, of Des Plaines was charged with criminal trespass to property and battery after an incident July 6 at 9:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of Kent Avenue. Police said the incident occurred after Kipiel was confronted by a homeowner who believed Kipiel was behaving suspicously in the area.

Possession of Fireworks
Christopher Smith, 55, of Park Ridge was charged with possession of fireworks July 4.

Underage Drinking
James Keefep, 18, of Park Ridge was charged under zero tolerance and with use of a premise for consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 100 block of N. Wisner Street at 11:48 p.m. July 4.
Alec Pappas, 18, of Park Ridge, was charged under zero tolerance and with hosting an underage drinking party in the 400 block of N. Washington Avenue at 10 p.m. July 7.
Joseph Motroni, 18, of Park Ridge was charged under zero tolerance in the 1800 block of Birch Street at 10:58 p.m. July 7.
A 17-year-old minor was charged under zero tolerance in the 1800 block of Birch Street at 10:58 p.m. July 7.

Renato Motroni, 52, of Park Ridge, was chaged with use of a premise for consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 1800 block of Birch Street at 10:58 p.m. July 7.
DUI
Robert Robinson, 23, of Des Plaines, was charged with DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol after a traffic stop near Dee Road and Higgins Road at 12:59 a.m. on July 7.
