Bring a non-perishable food item to vote for your favorite tree
Area residents still have time to vote for their favorite tree in The Festival of Community Christmas Trees hosted by Summit of Uptown, 10 N. Summit, Park Ridge. Stop by Summit anytime to cast a vote, just bring a non-perishable item for the Maine Township Emergency Food Pantry. Prizes will be awarded to the winning organizations.
Trees have been decorated by the following area schools and organizations. Children’s groups include St. Raymond Webelos Cub Scout Pack 55, St. Paul of the Cross Girl Scout Troop 40651, Queen of All Saints Cub Scout Pack 3942, Mary Seat of Wisdom Girl Scout Troop 4167, St. Paul of the Cross 4th Graders, Carpenter School Brownie Troop 41446, St. Monica Brownie Troop, Carpenter School 3rd Graders, St. Mary Family Guild, Cherokee Tribe Park Ridge Indian Scouts, St. Juliana Cub Scout Pack 3965, Montessori, Academy Preschoolers, Emerson School Vocal Power Chorus, Roosevelt School 4th Grade Chorus, St. Paul of the Cross Bear Cub Scout Troop 24, Park Ridge Ascension Dance Troupe, Field School Brownie Troop, Park Ridge Cheer Squad, and Creativo! Academy Preschoolers.
Community groups include the Park Ridge Fire Department, Park Ridge Police Department, Park Ridge Kiwanis-Noon, Park Ridge Rotary, Center of Concern, Park Ridge Centennial Activity Center and Maine Township.
