Twenty-first Star Chapter NSDAR December Meeting 2015

The Twenty-first Star Chapter NSDAR will hold a meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at the Park Ridge Country Club. The meeting starts at 11:30.

The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow. Hostesses for the day are: Carol Pauly, Nancy Ruscitti, Nancy Meyer, and Gene Andersen, Chairman. This chapter serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas. Chapter Regent, Gail Enault, is pleased to have the Maine South Vocal Jazz Ensemble directed by Mr. Matthew Hanes, present a program entitled "Christmas in Song". This is always a special program. Mr. Hanes is the Director of Choirs at Maine South High School in Park Ridge. His choirs have performed locally, nationally, and internationally. Non-perishable food will be collected for the Main Township Pantry. The Twenty-first Star Chapter NSDAR serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas. Women who are interested in DAR membership should know that any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership. The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom."
