Twenty-first Star Chapter NSDAR November 2015 Meeting
The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the NSDAR will hold a meeting on Wednesday, November 11 at the Park Ridge Country Club.
The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow. Hostesses for the day are: Joyce Pence, Barrie Shinn, Carol Yoshioka, and Gene Andersen, Chairman. Chapter Regent, Gail Enault, is pleased to have Mr. Larry Kantroski, present a program entitled, "Vietnam War-50th Anniversary Commemoration". Mr Kantroski is a Vietnam veteran. He will give an overview of the war, including key dates of military activity. Vietnam Veterans will be welcomed as guests at this meeting. The Twenty-first Star Chapter NSDAR serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership. The DAR recognizes "Patriots: as not only soldiers but also anyone who contributed to the cause of American freedom.” Women who are interested in DAR membership should contact Second Vice Regent, Dorothy Wilson at (847) 328-6946 for further details.
