Dallas Daniels headlined with a SuperTwins win, while Tom and Sam Drane claimed victories in Singles and ProSport 450, continuing the city's storied flat-track racing tradition.

'All about the weather': Local creator keeps Illinoians informed (pjstar.com) — A Pekin-based weather enthusiast who remembers a major 2008 storm hitting Peoria now runs massive Facebook weather communities serving Illinois, including many Peoria followers. He and his volunteer team provide free, detailed forecasts and dramatic storm photos, aiming to keep residents informed while building connections from farmers to city-dwellers.
