Nelson, previously convicted on firearm and burglary charges, remains in the Peoria County Jail on $1.5 million bond following his arraignment.

4. Hearing rescheduled for suspected double homicide (centralillinoisproud.com) — A key court hearing in a Peoria double-homicide case has been pushed to October 15 because the accused remains hospitalized outside the area.
