• Beecher, Momence baseball, Herscher softball get walkoff conference wins: Tuesday's Daily Journal roundup (shawlocal.com) — Peotone athletes had a busy day across several sports, with baseball, softball, soccer, and track teams all in action against familiar conference rivals. The Blue Devils dropped close games to Herscher in both baseball and softball, and the girls soccer team fell 4-3 to Beecher, while Peotone boys and girls track squads earned several individual wins at a Wilmington quad meet.
