7 D202 Middle Schoolers Headed To Regional Spelling Bee
The students, in grades six through eight, each won the spelling bee at their respective middle schools.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Seven middle school students from Plainfield School District 202 were crowned spelling bee champions at their schools, propelling them to the regional competition.
This year's Will County Regional Spelling Bee will be held March 24 at Joliet West High School, 401 N. Larkin Ave. Winners of the competition will advance to the national spelling bee in June.

- Lukas Nowak, 6th grade at Drauden Point
- Vincent Lombard, 7th grade at Heritage Grove

- Angelica De Guzman, 8th grade at John F. Kennedy
- Chase Bilotta, 6th grade at Timber Ridge
