99 Citations Issued By Plainfield Police During July 4 Campaign

PLAINFIELD, IL — During Plainfield police's Fourth of July enforcement campaign that targeted impaired and unbuckled drivers, officers issued 99 citations and made one warrant arrest, officials announced Monday.
The safety campaign encompassed three weekends, starting July 16 and lasting through the early morning hours on July 5.

Plainfield police are joining Illinois State Police and more than 200 other local agencies in the effort, highlighting "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over," "Drive High Get a DUI," and "Click It or Ticket" programs.
