Air Force Band to Perform Dec. 13 at Plainfield East HS

The United States Air Force Band of Mid-America’s Concert Band will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13 at Plainfield East High School, 12001 S. Naperville Road in Plainfield.

Tickets are free, but will be required for admission. Tickets will be available after Thanksgiving at Ellman’s Music Center, 508 W. 5th Ave. in Naperville. Please call the store at 630-55-5880 to check ticket availability.

The Concert Band includes 45 professional musicians whose music inspires patriotism, connects communities with military service members and honors our country’s veterans.

The performance will feature selections from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite,” “O Holy Night” and “Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring,” among others. The band also features vocal soloists singing a wide variety of classic holiday selections.
