Chad Lewis Obituary

Chad C. Lewis. Age 28. He went to sleep and woke up in the presence of the Lord on Thursday, January 27, 2011.

Born in Joliet and a lifelong Plainfield resident. A graduate of Plainfield High School Class of 2000 and St. Mary Immaculate Grade School Class of 1996. Chad was named All Star in Baseball by Plainfield Athletic League, All Star in Basketball at St. Mary Immaculate and a star member of the Plainfield Soccer Association. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears Fan and loved playing poker.

Preceded by his mother Jill A. Lewis (2009), his maternal grandparents Dorrance and Mary (nee Pell) Brown and his best canine companion Buster.

Survived by his father Larry (Cheree) Lewis, his brother Erik both of Plainfield; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Lorraine Lewis and step-sisters Mandy, Dawn and Nicole Irwin. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service for Chad C. Lewis is pending. As it was Chad's request cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his name would be appreciated.
