“3-2-1” The ribbon has been cut by Sarah Shewmake, Assistant General Manager of the Joliet North Fairfield Inn & Suites as the crowd counts her down with Ashlei Birch, General Manager of the Joliet North Fairfield Inn & Suites and members of the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce on May 10, 2012.

The property was opened in 1992 as a Fairfield Inn by Marriott.  Starting in September 2011 until April 2012 the property went under a major renovation and a name change to Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott.  During the renovation everything was replaced from the furniture in the rooms to the asphalting of the parking lot.  The Joliet North Fairfield Inn & Suites now has 16 suites, a hot complimentary breakfast, and fitness center, laundry services, business center, indoor pool/whirlpool and The Market.
