Assistant Principals Hired At Lincoln Elementary, JFK Middle School

PLAINFIELD, IL — Two assistant principals have been hired to fill vacancies at Lincoln Elementary School and John F. Kennedy Middle School in Plainfield.

Christopher Jeziorny and Jen Napravnik joined the middle and elementary schools' teams, respectively, at the start of the 2022-23 school year. Jeziorny came to Plainfield School District 202 after working as a special education teacher in Naperville. Napravnik most recently worked as a fifth-grade teacher at Harrison Street Elementary School in Geneva.

In his 13 years in education, Jeziorny has taught at the elementary, middle and high school levels, according to District 202 officials. He has also worked at the School Association of Special Education of DuPage County, Southeast Alternative School, and Lincoln Junior High School in Naperville.

In the past year, Napravnik created and implemented a Geneva School District 308-wide after-school reading and math program to close gaps created by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Tom Hernandez, District 202's director of community relations.

Throughout her 10-year education career, she led workshops in co-teaching, student engagement and leadership, math intervention, and grit.
