Business Extends Service Hours During Tax Season

Liberty Tax Services will offer additional hours through Feb. 5.

Editor's note: The following is a press release issed by Liberty Tax Service.

Beginning Jan. 28, Liberty Tax Service will extend operating hours to 6 a.m. until midnight seven days a week. Some Liberty Tax locations will be open 24 hours, providing round-the-clock service for taxpayers. These accommodating hours will continue through Feb. 5, 2013.

Since the IRS moved the date to begin processing individual income tax returns, the vast majority of tax filers -- more than 120 million households -- should be able to start filing tax returns starting Jan. 30. But that doesn’t mean taxpayers have to wait until that deadline to have their returns prepared. Liberty Tax Service is already preparing tax returns and has extended their hours to accommodate those still needing to get their taxes prepared.
