Fast Facts: While Neuqua is coming off of a humbling 64-27 loss to West Aurora on Friday, the Wildcats still have a two-game lead in the UEC Valley race with two games to go. The Wildcats split with West Aurora and Bartlett in conference play and their other two losses came from outside the Chicago area, to Normal and Rockford Auburn. Their postseason résumé includes wins over Benet, Bolingbrook and Geneva. Raridon leads the way with 16 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. He is slated to head to North Central College next year to play for his father. Raridon scored a school-record 40 points against East Aurora on Jan. 27. George, posting 11.5 points, 4.2 assists and 2.1 steals per game, continues the fine run of point guards at Neuqua which included Jabari Sandifer. For Plainfield East, Jordan, heading to Illinois in the fall, is one of the top players in the state, averaging 19.7 points per game. He recovered from an ankle injury suffered after being named MVP of the Pekin Tournament in December. Goss is his main offensive support, averaging 10.1 points per game to go with 7.7 rebounds per game. The defending SPC champions also get big contributions from the Wright brothers, with Wynston handling point guard duties and Wilyam serving as the team’s lockdown defender.
