Fast Facts: Jordan is the headliner. One of the top players in Illinois and averaging 20.2 points per game, he is headed to Champaign next year to play for the Fighting Illini. Jordan suffered an ankle injury in practice after earning MVP honors at the Pekin Tournament in December. The team struggled to score without him, but he is back and is playing like he did before the injury. Wynston Wright is the team’s point guard, while Wilyam Wright gets the unenviable task of guarding Stumpe defensively. Goss is the team’s second-leading scorer at 9.9 points per game and is a very athletic wing. Stumpe stars for the Tigers, averaging 22.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game. He’ll head to Division I Wofford in the fall. Krieger has come on as a junior, posting 13.2 points per game. Conway is the big man in the middle, heading to Syracuse for football in the fall. Nowak plans on playing at Division III Augustana next year, while Speas is a big-time football recruit at tight end. North recently dropped its first home game in two years to Minooka. This is a big game in the Southwest Prairie Conference standings as both teams enter with 7-2 records. East is the defending SPC champion.
