College Credits: Dean's, President's Lists Name Plainfield Students

Plainfield Central High School grad makes dean’s list

Will Noble, a 2021 graduate from Plainfield Central High School, made the dean’s honor list at University of Nevada Las Vegas. He is currently enrolled in an electrical engineering program.

Recent Plainfield North High School graduate named on president’s list

Carter Scott, a 2023 Plainfield North High School alum, made the president’s list and has been in the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps program at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.

To make it onto the president’s list, students must earn a GPA between 3.8 to 4.0.

Plainfield resident named to James Madison University dean's list

Cole Collander of Plainfield has been named to the dean's list at James Madison University for the fall 2023 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Collander is majoring in International Affairs - BA.

Native of Plainfield named to Mississippi State University's fall 2023 deans' list

Dominic Muscarnero, of Plainfield, IL, is among 2,514 named to the Mississippi State University fall 2023 Deans' List.

To be named to the Deans' List, a student must have achieved a GPA between 3.5 and 3.79, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.

Plainfield student graduates from the University of Kentucky

The University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences recognized more than 230 candidates during commencement ceremonies in December 2023. Among those participating was: Kaylin Klonicki of Plainfield, IL (60586), with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Local student highly distinguished on College of Charleston president’s list

Diana Soto of Plainfield, (60544) was named to the College of Charleston Fall 2023 President's List (Highly Distinguished). Soto is majoring in Spanish.

To qualify for the President's List (Highly Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.800 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

MTSU dean’s list includes Plainfield student

Jordan McClendon of Plainfield, IL, was named to Middle Tennessee State University's dean's list for the fall 2023 semester. McClendon is majoring in Journalism.

To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours.

Dean's, president's lists students named for UA fall 2023 term

A total of 13,950 students enrolled during Fall Semester 2023 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s). These driven students are making waves across UA’s more than 70 undergraduate programs and 12 colleges and schools.

The UA dean’s and president’s lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

The 2023 fall lists include the following students:
