Students who attempt 12 graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean's List honors. Students earning a perfect 4.00-grade point average on 12 graded credits attempted to earn High Dean's List honors.

Local first-year students attend Iowa State University College of Human Sciences
Hundreds of incoming first-year College of Human Sciences students participated in on-campus orientation at Iowa State University in Ames. OnCyte Orientation complements the extensive online orientation many incoming students completed in the spring. As part of the program, students and their families met peers, signed up for classes, became familiar with the campus, and learned tips for making the most of their college careers.

Evelyn Hernandez graduates from Rochester Institute of Technology
Evelyn Hernandez of Plainfield (60544) graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with an AAS in architectural and civil drafting technology.
Some 4,000 degrees were conferred in the 2020-2021 academic year at all of RIT's campuses. Due to New York state COVID-19 occupancy restrictions, commencement was celebrated May 14-15 in smaller ceremonies by college and was live-streamed for graduates' family and friends.
Rochester Institute of Technology is home to leading creators, entrepreneurs, innovators and researchers. Founded in 1829, RIT enrolls about 18,600 students in more than 200 career-oriented and professional programs, making it among the largest private universities in the U.S.

High-achieving students were named to the Knox College Dean's List for the 2021 Spring Term. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have earned at least 2.5 credits in the term, with a grade point average of 3.6 or better (on a 4.0 scale).

Rebecca St Germain (Plainfield, IL) is one of the 286 DePauw student-athletes named to the Tiger Pride Honor Roll for achieving at least a 3.40-grade point average for the 2021 spring semester.

The Honor Roll, started in the 2012 fall semester by Stevie Baker-Watson, DePauw's associate vice president for campus wellness and Theodore Katula director of athletics and recreational sports, recognizes DePauw student-athletes who are members of an NCAA varsity athletics team and have a semester grade point average of 3.40 or higher.

Illinois Wesleyan announces candidates for graduation 2021
Illinois Wesleyan University honored more than 360 candidates for graduation during Commencement on May 2, 2021. Geisha Jimenez Williams, a business leader with more than three decades of experience in the energy industry who became the first and, so far, only Latina CEO of a Fortune 200 company, delivered the Commencement address.
