Plainfield student named to spring 2022 dean's list at John Carroll University
Anne Meunier of Plainfield has been named to the Dean's List at John Carroll University for the Spring 2022 semester.

Students eligible for the Dean's List must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours within one semester and have a quality grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Caitlyn Spreitzer graduates from MSOE in spring 2022
Caitlyn Spreitzer, from Plainfield, graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) in Spring 2022. Spreitzer received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with High Honors.
Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or above are listed as having graduated with "High Honors." Undergraduate students with a cumulative GPA between 3.20 and 3.69 are listed as having graduated with "Honors."

Plainfield native makes dean's list at RIT
Kaitlyn Catalano of Plainfield (60544) was named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the Spring 2022 Semester. Catalano is in the psychology program.
Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete," "D" or "F," and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Student from Plainfield earns all-academic honors for UW-Whitewater men’s soccer
Jake Farley, a native of Plainfield, IL, and graduate of Plainfield North High School, is one of 18 members of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's soccer team who were named to the 2021-22 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) All-Academic Team.
Farley, a senior at UW-Whitewater, is majoring in general management.
Nearly 65 percent (18-of-28) of the Warhawks' team earned the honor, which required a minimum 3.20-grade point average for the 2021-22 academic year. A total of 1,003 student-athletes from the C2C earned spots on the list.

Millikin University names Plainfield students to spring dean's list
Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of the outstanding undergraduates who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester.
Students who attempt 12 graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean's List honors. Students earning a perfect 4.00-grade point average on 12 graded credits attempted to earn High Dean's List honors.
The students named to the Dean's List at Millikin University are listed in alphabetical order according to last name.

Augustana College announces 2022 graduates
Augustana College held its commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 22. U.S. Senator Dick Durbin delivered the address. The graduating class totaled 508.
Those graduating were given advice by Senator Durbin, who reflected on the resilience and hard work of this year's graduates and commended Augustana's commitment to preparing the next generation of peacemakers and problem solvers.
Among the graduates who participated in the ceremony:
- Jouwana Bzal from Plainfield was recognized with a major(s) in French and Biology.
- Abigail Kulak from Plainfield was recognized with a major(s) in Environmental Studies.
- Jacob Ramos from Plainfield was recognized with a major(s) in Public Health and Business Administration-Management.
- Christopher Ray from Plainfield was recognized with a major(s) in Multimedia Journalism and Mass Communication.
