Mireya Ruiz, a graduate of Plainfield South High School, made the fall 2022 dean's list at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She will be graduating this May.
Ruiz majors in marketing and journalism.

Graduate of Plainfield North lands on University of Alabama dean's list
Megan R. Eichelberger was named to the University of Alabama's dean's list. The junior studying business and hospitality management graduated from Plainfield North High School in 2020.

Plainfield students make Eastern Illinois University dean’s list
More than 780 undergraduate students have been named to Eastern Illinois University’s Spring 2022 Deans' List.
Plainfield students include the following.
- Ambria A. Ford, studying psychology
- Cameron R. Korhorn, studying human services and communication leadership
- Hannah F. Michalski, studying kinesiology/sport/recreation
- Stephanie N. Rojo, studying teaching and learning foundations
- Amanda S. Rostron, studying communication on disorders science
- Amanda J. Transon, studying special education
The dean’s list at EIU recognizes undergraduates with a declared major whose academic performance has been excellent. Students who achieve a GPA of 3.80 to 4.00 (on a 4.00 scale) while completing a minimum of 12 graded semester hours, excluding credit/no credit grades, in a fall or spring semester will be named to the list.

Plainfield student makes dean’s list at Belmont University
Belmont University has announced the list of students recognized on the Dean's List for the Fall 2022 semester. Of the approximately 52 percent of Belmont's 7,100 undergraduate students who qualified for the Fall 2022 Dean's List, Hannah O'Brien (Plainfield) was listed.
Dean's List eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

Student from Plainfield named to dean’s list
Peyton Skiba of Plainfield was named to Buena Vista University's Fall 2022 Dean's List. Skiba was among more than 500 students named to the Dean's List this semester.
The Dean's List recognizes full-time students achieving a 3.5-grade point average or higher for the semester.

Coe College is recognizing its highest-performing students as members of the Dean's List, including Rebecca Pacetti, who is currently among this elite group.
Pacetti, of Plainfield, has been named to the prestigious Fall 2022 Dean's List at Coe in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Student from Plainfield named on James Madison University dean’s list
Plainfield resident Cole Collander has been named to the Dean's List at James Madison University for the fall 2022 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Collander is majoring in International Affairs - BA.

Plainfield student graduates from Trine Unviersity
Joshua Elmore of Plainfield completed the requirements for a degree from Trine University at the end of the Fall 2022 semester.
Elmore earned a degree in Civil Engineering at Trine.

Plainfield students travel to Rome for study abroad program
For the Spring 2023 Semester, the Lasallian Universities Center for Education in Rome, Italy will serve a record 22 college students; the most students since the program began five years ago. Most students are from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois while three students are from Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York.
- Jenna Cheop of Plainfield (60586) is studying at Lewis University.
- Octavio Ortiz of Plainfield (60586) is studying Biology BS at Lewis University.
The students live in the Generalate, the motherhouse of the De La Salle Christian Brothers in Rome, Italy. Its extensive grounds and facilities provide a safe and ideal place to study and explore the city. Students will use Rome as their classroom as well as travel to Assisi and other sites.
Students will take courses that draw on the rich culture and history of Rome. Italian faculty will teach Italian, Italy Today, and Art Appreciation. All three credit-hour courses can be taken to fulfill the General Education requirements.

Monmouth College fall 2022 dean’s list includes Plainfield students
To be eligible for the Dean's List, students needed to take at least 3.0 academic credits while maintaining a grade-point average of at least 3.5.

Emma Figlewicz named to the Alma College dean’s list
Alma College has released the Dean's List for those students who achieved outstanding academic performance during the 2022 Fall Term. Students who achieve a 3.5 or better grade point average during a term, while carrying a minimum of 13 credits, at least eight of which are evaluative grades, are named to the Dean's List. Emma Figlewicz of Plainfield, IL was named to the list.
