District 202 Preschool Lottery Will Start Mid-February
Tuition-based programs for the 2022-23 school year will be available at Bonnie McBeth Learning Center and three other elementary schools.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Plainfield School District 202 is opening registration for its 2022-23 preschool lottery at 7 a.m. Feb. 14.
For two weeks — until 5 p.m. Feb. 25 — parents can apply for the lottery using an online application. In the upcoming school year, tuition-based preschool programs will be available at Bonnie McBeth Learning Center, Freedom Elementary, Liberty Elementary and Wallin Oaks Elementary.
Two-, three- and five-day programs will be available at Bonnie McBeth Learning and Wallin Oaks, while only a five-day program will be offered at Liberty and Freedom elementary schools.

In order to enroll in preschool for the upcoming school year, children must be 3 on or before Sept. 1.
District staff will be hosting the lottery drawing Feb. 28, and parents will be notified by March 1 if their child has been accepted or placed on the waiting list.

Families will have until April 1 to register and pay the $100 deposit or else they'll lose their spot. People on the waiting list will be notified of any openings starting June 1.
